We say we don\u2019t want to lose the \u201cgood workers,\u201d forgetting that in fact, all of them are important. In a country where small businesses predominate, losing a professional has a huge impact. Someone who knows the processes, habits, clients, and products well&#8230; The departure of a person negatively affects the performance of the entire team\u2014either through delays in task execution or in overall morale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The market says that the cost of losing a worker is equal to one and a half times their annual base salary. That\u2019s an easy formula to show management how much a departure costs compared to investing in current employees. However, if we think of a specific case, we quickly realize that the cost is much higher due to everything that remains undone until the replacement is producing at the same level as the one who left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Go4Mobility, we take this issue very seriously. The market we operate in is very specific, and as such, any departure has a significant replacement cost. The work shouldn\u2019t be about preventing exits but rather about valuing the employee, their journey, and ensuring the best possible experience\u2014so good that they won\u2019t even consider leaving. I\u2019ll share some key themes we focus on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Recruitment:<\/strong> Ensuring that anyone who joins our company understands the project, the mission and vision, shares our values, and aligns their career path with everything we offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Initial Training:<\/strong> The first days at the company include going through all departments and areas to understand everything we do. Additionally, we have a set of mandatory training sessions in our area of work to provide professionals with all the knowledge they need to feel autonomous. We want every new employee to quickly feel integrated with the team and the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ongoing Training for All Employees:<\/strong> Beyond the training plan tailored to professional development, we reserve an important part for personal and cross-functional development. We want to have better people, not just better professionals. Providing everyone with new skills will promote the overall growth of the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Recognition and Celebration of Success:<\/strong> Acknowledging those who do different and outstanding work. We have our (many) events, both large and small, where at least quarterly we update the progress of ongoing projects and share individual and collective successes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Benefits Package:<\/strong> Available to everyone, but with a wide range of options to suit our different people.
